Henrik sits back and lets Alois do his thing. He's not about to waste his ammo on longshots.

Alois takes his time and aims; and with that, and his very careful aim, he manages to take down two of the hellknights, leaving the two on either side of the door. He can't get a good angle on them at all.

[12 bullets in pouch after current reload]

Alois starts to reload his gun, humming a faint tune. Once he was done, he turns to Ricky and motions him forward, "Your turn to shine Ricky Mochi. Do not worry, I will only need a few seconds to down at least one of them. I am sure our officer friend won't have too much trouble taking care of the other, yes? Ha-ha."

Alois infused his bullets with smite energy once more, waiting for Ricky to make his run. Once the man did his thing, Alois was quick to follow, firing off a smite powered shotgun shell square in the chest of the closest Hell Knight. He made sure to get out of the way/let Henrik and/or Ricky Mochi deal with the remaining one. As always, Alois did his best to evade what came at him.

Ricky spins around and runs straight through towards the doorway. He was going to dive and roll right through the doorway to avoid getting chopped in half by the Hellknights. The more compact the better. As soon as he got through the door way he backed up and picked up his harpoon being constantly on the move and berating the knights. Yes, he was fast and yes he could keep his distance while the others were on his ass, but he didn't want to attack them. He'd let the other two do the honors for that. Instead he would stay on the move and out of the way of his partners while avoiding to get stabbed all over the damn place.

Henric waits until the Hell Knights are distracted with the other two and then maneuvers through the door to plug the remaining hell knight's helmet with a couple bullets from his pistol.

The plan goes without a hitch, which is somewhat abnormal. Ricky does the right thing and rolls through the hallway, barely avoid the blades as the hellknights bring them down- and when they turn and clank toward him, Henrik and Alois rush through the door, pegging them both in the back of the head and causing them to collapse into ash.

They now have their choice of doors. One is definitely barred shut, almost WELDED shut, and that's the one directly in front of them. From their new vantage point they can see the left room is the forge-room, full of furnaces blasting red-hot heat, dozens of tables and anvils, and almost fifty sorry excuses of humanity chained to each anvil. They wear iron masks with no eyes, ostensibly to protect them from the heat; their flesh seems cooked by the unholy fires but still they beat out armor and weapons at a slow, steady pace. They can hear the sound of fifty hammers slamming down on metal in concert, not a single hammer falling out of rhythm.

Opposite of that room, to their right, they see a dusty armory, full of the fruits of demonic labor. There are dozens of full suits of armor and poleaxes, each one components for the hellknights that would surely march forth from the castle- but for now they remain inert.

Rubbing his hands together in satisfaction, Alois reloaded his gun once more and made his door towards the large locked door. While inspecting it, Alois decided to toss out a few more words to his current party, "Mr. Mochi and Mr. Officer, I know it does not have to be said, but please go on and equip yourself with what you need in that room over there. I am sure we will need whatever we stumble upon for what lay ahead." Running a finger across the door, Alois took his time looking it over. Afterwards, he simply made his way into the equipment room and took his time looking it over for something other than weapons and armor. Something of note. A diamond in the rough, as some would say. Would it be plausible that a locked door would have a key nearby? Could this be the 'nearby?' Maybe. Maybe not.

Whatever the case, Alois did grab some body armor for himself. Preferably one that fit him.

Ricky walked into the the dusty armory. Replacement weapons. New Armor. A child-like smile went across his face. It was like Christmas in the future for every boy and girl of all ages! "Alright." He looked over the selection carefully picking out armor that would fit him. Body armor was the highest priority of course, followed by gauntlets and boots and a new helmet as well.

Then came the weapons. He looked over each poleaxe carefully. He tested them swinging them carefully and precisely through the air. He picked one and proceeded to look through the armory for a replacement bill hook. A new sword or similar bill hook would work wonders as a replacement. Finally used his eyes of pie to spot out anything out of the ordinary in the armory. Specifically in the shape of a weapon, specifically a spear, but anything out of the ordinary with magical powers that wouldn't kill him on sight in the room would be enough to peak his interest and grab it.

On that note he also on his guard for any enemies that would be hiding in the room.

Henric harrumphs, looking over the armor with distain. "Unless there's ammunition somewhere in that mess, not interested."

Ricky finds that most of the armament here are almost precisely identical. Even so he manages to find some armor that's a bit LESS identical than the others, but they're fairly heavy. Unless he wears the armor, there's no way in hell he's going to move with it and keep combat effective. The weapons themselves are exclusively poleaxes. Heavy, but they'd be good for a LOT of damage and look quite sturdy. The armor itself might be a little tight to wear but not by too much, a little bit of retooling of the armor at a forge back at home would allow him to perfectly adapt it to his use easily.

Alois has a bit more of a problem with the armor. He doesn't have Ricky or Henrik's physique. Wearing the armor would not only be debilitatingly heavy, but incredibly awkward- he wouldn't fill it out in the least. Further investigation of the area only shows piles and piles of equipment that Ricky's tossed around.

Alois pouts as he tosses the armor into the corner. Looking at the ground, he shakes his head at the mess that Ricky Mochi had just made. "Ricky Mochi? Would you please pick up the mess you have made? Thank you." Alois didn't really seem to wait for a response as he pointed to a corner for Ricky to stack the needless equipment. Once that was done, Alois once again searched for anything of notice that wasn't the cut and dry weaponry around them. He hoped Ricky would join him in this as well.

Ricky grabs the chest armor and a pair of guantlets and putted them on. Sure they'll need refitting, but he also needed some defense. Taking one of the polearms he quickly through the rest of the armor in a corner, but leaving specifically the boots and helmet and other armor accesories to the side. It'd be way to heavy for him to hold it now, but coming back later he could hopefully grab them. After all that is said and down he helps Alois look around for anything else.

Henric at this point just decides to stand outside the room and make sure nothing is noticing the ungodly racket the others are undoubtedly making throwing all that armor around.

Nothing much happens! As they look- and find nothing more than more piles of armor, no less- they only hear the rhythmic clanking of hammers near the forge. It seems the sound of their rustling gets lost within the sound of the forge.

"Oh dear. I see. Well, I suppose we will have to take the much maligned route. Mr. Mochi, will you be so kind as to take point?"

With a gesture of his hand, Alois left the room and made his way into the other open hallway. Hand on his gun, he let Ricky take point as he was wary of what lay ahead. He was sure to move as silently as possible.
